They want her to use her proximity to the Nazi officer to gather information and work as an agent. With her fame and ability to speak multiple languages, Sonja knows many important figures in both Sweden and Germany, making her a valuable asset for Terboven to use against Sweden. As the Second World War progresses, Sonja's double-agent life becomes increasingly difficult and complicated.
