Northmen - A Viking Saga (tt2290553) Viking warrior Asbjorn, son of a rebel Viking lord whose homeland has been invaded by King Harald, leads a group of exiled Vikings trying to reach other Viking settlements in the south. However, they get caught in a storm and their boats sink off the coast of Scotland. Stranded on land, they must pay a price to be accepted into the new settlements, but they have nothing to offer. Meanwhile, they come across the convoy of Lady Inghean, the daughter of Scottish King Dunchaid, who is preparing for her wedding. They decide to kidnap her in order to obtain a ransom. Unbeknownst to them, the king hires a group of ruthless mercenaries called the "Wolves" from the Carpathians to track them down. However, the mercenaries' intention is not to bring the girl back, but to kill her once found. Dreaming of obtaining a ransom, the exiled Viking warriors find themselves as fugitives in an unfamiliar country. They seek help from a reclusive Christian monk.
